New clinic, trustful team, old traditions, more possibilities

The Plastic Surgery Centre was established by two surgeons, Saulius Vikšraitis and Tautrimas Aštrauskas, in 1992. After long years of success, challenges and experience, a new special clinic has been opened in Č.Sasnauskas Street in Žaliakalnis. The new clinic is commodious, slightly artistic and even theatrical. Patients are attended in cosy, homelike recovery rooms. We can offer to use the private entrance in order to warrant patients‘ confidentiality.

There work 28 employees, 9  physicians of the highest qualification.  Perfectly trained staff not only uses the newest medical equipment, performs advanced procedures but their smile and sensitive hands cure patients‘ wounds. Both surgeons working at the centre are activ members of the following organizations: Lithuanian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (www.plastine.lt), the International Confederation of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (I.P.R.A.S.), European Confederation of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery E.S.P.R.A.S.), European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery (E.A.C.M.F.S.) , Baltic Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery (Baltic AMPS).

About 500 operations a year are performed at the PSC. This amount is  increasing every year.

Our clinic, Plastic Surgery Center, tenders services and care of the highest level for the patients. The Center has been issued a license to work on personal health care practise: secondary plastic and reconstructive surgery for the adults, reanimation and intensive care for the adults, ambulant plastic reconstructive surgery, otorhinolaringology, anaesthiology and reanimatology nursing, aneasthesia and intensive therapy, general practise.

Plastic and reconstructive surgery doctors – Saulius Vikšraitis and Tautrimas Aštrauskas – are highly recognised plastic surgery professionals in Lithuania. They are provided with licenses, issued by Lithuanian Ministry of Health, to work on plastic and reconstructive surgery.  The patients describe both of them as professionals of the highest level, understanding, strong and caring personalities. The surgeons of PSC were the first in the Baltic countries who in 1997 started using endoscopic techniques for cosmetic surgery of a face.

Currently, there are two modernly equipped operating – rooms at the clinic. One of them is the only dual endoscopic surgery operating – room in the Baltic States. Furthermore we have excellent conditions not only for performing operations and healing patients but also for transmitting our knowledge to young specialists. Accordingly, conference hall has been created, where training operations will be demonstrated directly from the operation – room. The patients will feel home at our cosy recovery rooms, which are equiped with modern system for calling duty staff, autonomous heating and conditioning system. The patients are fed according to the type of  operation they have  had. They also have possibility to choose dishes from  a special menu. We offer free and comfortable car parking for the visitors of the PSC.
